It was indeed a wonderful break for both me and my husband. We commenced our trip from Hanoi where we stayed at the Old Quarter...the city is brimming with fun and has lots to offer in terms of cuisine and culture. The highlight of our holiday was the 2 nights cruise at Halong Bay, which is a must for anyone visiting Vietnam.
We then proceeded to Hoi an...where we spent 3 nights at the Karma property. Cay Tre is a lovely boutique property, especially the land scaping. The room however was a bit drab, but very comfortable with much scope for improvement.
Hoi an is a City of Lanterns and the walk through the Old Town was mesmerizing. The day tours to Mi son and Bana Hills were great. Much thanks to our concierge for her prompt and efficient response which enables us to have our annual itiernary well planned.
We look forward to many more such Karma bonanzas!!
