We stayed 3 nights along with about 30 guests and we were all absolutely blown away with this wonderful hotel. The location is beautiful and every room has a stunning Seaview arguably the best location in the islands. Every meal we had was superb from breakfast through to lunch & dinner. The staff are lovely and Scott did an exceptional job making sure every last detail was taken care of for all our guests. The hotel has a very nice relaxed and unpretentious feel to it, all guests are made to feel really welcome and another bonus is it's great for dogs and is extremely pet friendly. From making the booking we where made to feel special. All the staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and wanted to make your stay the best it could be. Free bus travel makes life a lot easier and gives you the chance to see the stunning area and local attractions. The hotel Restaurant has a good choice of food and daily specials and the standard of food was excellent. Rooms were large and comfy only down side no English channels other than news, but for the time you spend in your room not really an issues. It is a welcome relief from an island saturated with tourists, and has a number of great eating places a short walk away. The property is close to a taxi stand, so visiting the beaches or other places of tourist interst is not difficult. The resort is located in island's epicentre with easy access to all the facilities. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The pool is welcome after a day riding around enjoying all the beaches the island has to offer and the restaurant had the best food on the island at very reasonable prices.<\/p>\n<p>Riding bikes around is the way to go and with no cars on the island it makes it very safe for all ages. The quokkas are incredibly tame and wander around freely everywhere. A trip to Oliver Hill opened our eyes to the interesting historical significance of Rottnest during WW11. The island bus provides a great service for those that want to hop on and off instead of riding around. The seal colony at the end of the island is well worth the visit and there are so many great snorkelling spots on the way to enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of a busy day enjoying the outdoors, the local cinema with its quaint deckchairs offers the perfect relaxation. Rottnest is easy to reach and a great destination for all ages for however long you have to spare. We were sad to leave after 6 nights and will certainly be planning to go back. The check-in experience went very well, room was very nice. We ate at the restaurant at the resort nearly once a day--food was excellent and the staff was open to preparing dishes to our specified spiciness--we like them spicy!! Martin Gomes checked in with us daily to ensure we were having a wonderful time and to address any questions or needs we had. We did several trip in Jaipur and outside in other cities in Rajasthan, including a long trip to the Taj Mahal that were expertly coordinated by the travel desk at Karma Haveli. These were interesting and illuminating trips, by car, with a personable and excellent driver, Sandeep! Sandeep told us not only facts about the places we were visiting, but he also told us much about life in Jaipur and the Indian culture generally.
