We arrived after a very long journey from Milan and soon settled into the resort life. The ayurvedic treatments at the spa were world-class and in a beautiful setting.<\/p>\n<p>The accommodation itself was very spacious and comfortable. Room service were attentive and generally speaking all the staff went a very long way to make us welcome. Our daughter enjoyed activities provided by the resort and it was a great forum for making friends.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst at the resort, the reception desk arranged a local village tour by canoe, which was part of a sustainable tourism initiative. It was incredibly memorable and a great way to gain an insight into village life. We saw a whole array of local craft making and were invited into homes and shown around gardens where all sorts of spices and fruits were growing.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant offered a good variety of foods and the breakfast buffet had ample selection, including eggs any which way cooked to order.<\/p>\n<p>We really enjoyed our stay and thank the staff for all their efforts.
