100 Ways to Give Back

November 15 is World Philanthropy Day – a gentle prompt to take some kind of altruistic action in our lives. Here at Karma Group, philanthropy is embedded in our company DNA – which is why each week we report on the various projects that we are involved in around the world. What we rarely mention here is the fact that outside of our longstanding partnerships and emergency relief initiatives, we are continually supporting hundreds of causes through our ongoing Voucher programme.

Since the start of 2023, Karma Group has provided well over one hundred Karma Vouchers to a wide range of causes, events and organisations as valuable prizes that help raise much needed funds for everything from addressing the plastic pollution in our oceans to raising awareness about breast cancer to providing funds for small scale hospitals and medical units.

Some of the organisations supported include HRH the Prince of Wales Trust; the One Drop Foundation which champions water issues; Dan’s Fund for burns, which supports burns survivors; Nurture London which supports mental health via healthy food; the Kerslake/Robshaw Foundation (set up by Karma Ambassador Chris Robshaw and his partner Camilla Kerslake) which supports young people from underprivileged backgrounds; plush children’s initiatives the Atlas Foundation and the Children with Cancer Ball and many many more.

The vouchers themselves range from holidays at resorts like Karma Kandara to fine dining experiences to spa rituals – and they literally raise thousands upon thousands of dollars for these worthy causes. We’d like to thank all of the Karma Group staff that help administer the voucher programme – but above all the people who run the organisations that we support. Because they’re the ones doing the really difficult work.
