Scott Fisher :
Cornwall Tourism Awards Finalist

This just in : The Finalists have been announced for the Cornwall Tourism Awards 2020/2021 after an extended ten-month programme – and Karma St. Martin’s Scott Fisher, Regional General manager, has been shortlisted in the ‘Business Tourism Leadership’ category.

What an outstanding achievement!

The ‘Business Leader of the Year’ award for which Scott Fisher is shortlisted is sponsored by bethebusiness.com.   The aim of this award is to identify and celebrate leadership in Cornish tourism, with the goal that it will encourage others in future years. Nomination is from businesses themselves, the judges and partner organisations.

Says Fisher: ‘After an incredible and unprecedented twelve months, once again the Cornwall Tourism Awards are proudly supporting Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.  After ten years on the island, and attending these magnificent awards over the previous five years for our Pet Friendly Hotel Award & Highly commended Small boutique Hotel,  it’s such an honour and surprise to be shortlisted.’ He adds that none of this could be achieved without the amazing support and assistance of his team, fellow professionals around the Islands, and guests at Karma St.Martin’s resort. ‘A sincere thank you to Cornwall Tourism Awards and the team for the continued support to our industry through these times.’

This is the 19th year of the Cornwall Tourism Awards and despite these unprecedented times for tourism, the focus is on excellence and feedback for entrants has remained as relevant as ever. On February 25th, the finalists will learn whether they have won Gold, Silver, Bronze or a Special Award.
