Well, we’re delighted to report that the destination eatery in the heart of England has once again cemented its status as a Cotwsold culinary gem by winning!
For the second year in a row, the talented kitchen team has scooped the Best Hotel Restaurant title in the annual Food Awards England contest, firmly establishing Tempest as a standout dining experience in an already unique Tudor property in one of England’s prettiest regions.

Oh that’s rummmm. We stayed there recently but did not know of the dining room fame…. Well done guys. The bar was very cozy and folks there were friendly and outgoing. No stiff British upper lips there.
Must mention the that the staff were smiling efficient and lovable.
A note of special thanks to the taxi lady who not only carried out bags but rushed us past all after parking her car haphazardly, as we were a few minutes late for our train. She has no ticket to enter the platform but her smile let her do her magic. Train was on the platform. We entered baggage and all and the train started.
