We are from Bangalore stayed at Karma Chakra Kumarakom resort from 12th May to 16th May-18 first time with my wife and two children Gurucharan – studying Btech 7th semester in MIT, Manipal and Yugandar – studying 7th standard.
This is a unique property of Karma group on the banks of Lake Vembanad, as the lodging is built straddling over a canal (with lots of small cute fishes inside the water) and throughout resort, stone slab bridges at path way to navigate our way across the lagoons, was more attraction to walk and found innovative design!!
Karma Chakra, Kerala was on our list for quite some time kept pending. After visit realized how we missed this God’s gift location of Karma property and decided with family somehow to make a visit again next year during same time as the memories of the experience had at Karma Chakra are irreplaceable even after 2 weeks coming back from Kerala to our place.
Right from the time we checked in, till the time we left (of course very fast check in/check out than ever experienced and simpler documentation like a signature and address proof that’s all) every single member of the staff, that we had the opportunity to interact with, not only checked if there was anything at all they could do to make our stay that extra bit more memorable, but also ensured that our every need was attended promptly with a smile. Very friendly staff who were prepared to go extra mile for making the stay pleasant
Few days before coming to Resort, the information about resort and nearby areas as per our requirement was collected by Mr. Krupa was one to one matching and it helped us a lot without much waste of time for enjoying and it’s my privilege to give extra mileage to Krupa, a front office Executive.
Daily evening family fun games helped bond with other guests too !
The privacy we enjoyed at Holiday activities both at ground floor beside Pool and top floor TT, was so soothing with our family members and time passed for hours made you forget everything.
All rooms are quite bigger and having lake view, and was really Awesome to relax and tranquility to the mind, for a long time and watching plenty of varieties of Boats from our Balcony passing through our resort is of most catching and attraction of this Karma Chakra property. Great experience!!
Other facilities like swimming pool, spa, garden, easily available RO pure drinking water at each block, sit outs facing to lake and lake water extends into the resort as shown in my pictures are amazing, calm; and full marks to all.
If you want some change from our resort restaurant, easily accessible to main road if your prefer walk about 1 km from resort or readily available auto rickshaws at reasonable rates and friendly drivers to cater Hotels with Local food especially Kerala Parotas, Karimeen fish( for fish lovers), boiled rice(Kerala rice called); And for breakfast Puttu with Kabool curry or Egg gravy very tasty.
Early morning between 6.30 and 8.00 you should visit to the Bird Sanctuary. It’s 15 minutes max from our resort by Auto rickshaw to Bird sanctuary. All variety birds like Egrets, Stork, Carmaly, Kingfishers with nests found this season for breeding was wonderful watch. And boat ride inside the lake by Govt of Kerala(jetty) taking us was really amazing taking us to Allepey and dropping back is different experience. However the resort organized boat club is at top rate.
Had an amazing time and wonderful stay, would love to revisit !!!
Worth and right investment by becoming loyal member to Karma group is what we feel
