Recently had the pleasure of frequenting Royal Lighthouse Villas in Boat Lagoon. What a glorious location and the accommodation was on a canal near the marina. The accommodation was top notch, cleaned daily with everything needed for a long stay. The pool area ,library and computer room were all of a great quality too.
The staff again were friendly and so helpful. The internet worked nonstop too. There are heaps of restaurants as we were nestled in between other resorts and lots of bakeries ,yum. We frequented the Italian restaurant the most and any leftovers could be taken home for the next day. There is also 7/11's and a supermarket which is within walking distance. Massages and nails etc can also be done in the resorts.
We have been to Phuket 8 times and thought we would miss Patong but after visiting the area we were glad to get back to the serenity and expansive villa we had. For those wishing to save money if you go to the main road you could catch a bus ( open air) for 30 baht which will take you to Phuket town. From there the buses go in all directions at the cost of 40 baht wherever you wish to go . They do stop at 6pm though but it's a great way to see the countryside if you are not in a hurry. If you want to get off they stop anywhere along the way.
Tiger Kingdom is fantastic and after the nervousness wore off I enjoyed being up close and personal with the tigers.
