We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment as part of our Royal Membership having enjoyed a stay in Jimbaren Bali in Oct 2013 and in an affiliated Diamond facility in Maui, Hawaii in June. I found the apartments to be very spacious and full of light in all 3 properties and the staff were friendly and service orientated. Benaulim beach in Goa was clean and friendly and a short walk from the hotel. The Royal Goan Beach Club Benaulim has 48 units around a pool and has a lovely family orientated and homely feel. There is a restaurant called China Beach that served lovely meals and a shop in the hotel that one can buy groceries and alcohol. The pool is lovely and clean and there is a games room with table tennis, carom etc and a library of used books that had some good titles to read. Flat screen TVs were delivered to all units on 24.12.13 and the TATA cable service is good for Indian and English programmes. There are some good shops nearby and a number of good restaurants close to the hotel for a variety of food.
The kitchen in each apartment is well fitted out if you prefer to cook.
The apartments are being renovated and updated.
I enjoyed the spa at Royal Goan Beach Club Benaulim which had very good Aryuvedic treatments and enjoyed a massage, manicure and pedicure as did my 15 year old daughter.
The gym at RGBC Benaulim was well maintained and well fitted out with up to date equipment.
