Hosted by Chef Joseph Antonisek, Global Executive Chef for Karma Group, this immersive evening draws inspiration from ‘Al Dente As F*CK’ by Bruna & Emanuele, a cookbook made during the pandemic as two Italian cooks began rolling pasta out of necessity and passion in the Netherlands.

The experience begins in Sarang Lounge with Venetian wines and traditional cicchetti, alongside a live fresh pasta demonstration where guests can get hands-on, rolling dough, folding tortellini, and learning the craft first-hand.

The evening then moves to diMare for a five-course small-plate tasting, inspired by the book and Chef Antonishek’s travels through Italy. Each dish is paired with a story rooted in authenticity and tradition, with optional wine pairings to complete this unique culinary experience.

Venetian Aperitivo with Cicchetti (Tapas) & Pasta Making
Sarang Lounge | 6:00 – 7:30 PM
  • Venetian wine and cicchetti
  • Fresh pasta demonstration with Chef Joseph
  • Guests can try rolling Tagliolini, pinching mezzaluna, and stuffing anolini
  • Spirits and cicchetti served.

Five-Course Pasta Degustation
di Mare Restaurant | 7:30 PM onwards
First Course
  • Black Chicken Anolini di Brodo
  • Mini mezzaluna pasta stuffed with javanese sacred chicken & parmesan, in rich bone broth
    a dish of ritual, patience & warmth!
Second Course
  • Tagliolini “Carbonara Adjacent”
  • thin noodles tossed in butter with nutritional yeast and house-smoked tempeh “bacon”
    no rules, no cream, still filthy good!
Third Course
  • Fregula with Batik Clams, Nduja & Lemon Zest
  • toasted semolina balls tossed with clams and house crafted calabrian pork sausage in clam broth
    a zingy, spicy Sardinian seaside in every bite!
Main Course
  • Shish Barak, But Make it Pasta
  • Ravioli stuffed with spiced ground lamb, in tangy yoghurt dill sauce with pine nuts and barberries
    when nonna got lost and ended up at the bazaar instead of the mercato!
Dolci
  • Hazelnut Mascarpone Semifreddo with Honeyed Grapes and Pasta Fritta
  • a guiltless happy ending!

  • All bookings are non-transferable and may not be sold, assigned or transferred to another individual or member once confirmed.
  • The attendee names provided at time of booking must be the exact attendees at the event, unless explicit approval is granted by Karma Concierge.
  • All membership fees must be current at both the time of booking and the date of the event in order to attend. Refund of any monies / points used will be given subject to a minimum of 14 days notice being given.
