DAY 1 – SATURDAY, 28 OCTOBER 2023
On Saturday, you’ll start your Tuscany adventure with a relaxed 2pm check-in and a warm welcome followed by a pre-dinner gathering at 5pm in the main Villa music room accompanied by Villa Saletta Prosecco Rosé metodo classico, delicious canapés, and live music. The evening continues with a delectable dinner, themed around pheasant and white truffle, accompanied by wine pairings including our very own Karma Chianti and Villa Saletta wines.
DAY 2 – SUNDAY, 29 OCTOBER 2023
Sunday is a day of cultural and culinary discoveries. After breakfast from 8 am to 11 am, experience a truffle hunting demonstration in the Karma Borgo di Colleoli grounds with a professional hunter and his dogs, followed by a sumptuous lunch prepared with the found truffles. In the afternoon, we’ll head to picturesque Volterra to explore the Guarnacci museum, home to Etruscan treasures and Pontormo paintings. Return to the Karma Borgo di Colleoli for an enchanting dinner featuring black truffle and Roe deer, complemented by wine pairings, including La Spinetta wines. Top off the night with a captivating opera concert in the Music room at 9 pm.
DAY 3 – MONDAY, 30 OCTOBER 2023
At 11 am after breakfast, we venture to Montopoli to visit the local butcher, Marianelli, and learn the secrets behind Tuscany’s finest cured meats, followed by a delightful lunch at his restaurant. Later in the day, return to Karma Borgo di Colleoli for an aperitif in the square, featuring a local suppliers market showcasing olive oil, cheese, wine, and cured meats. The evening culminates in a mouthwatering dinner themed around T-bone steak (Chianina) and prosciutto, paired with Bolgheri wines. Finally, unwind to the soothing tunes of jazz in the Music room at 9 pm.
DAY 4 – TUESDAY, 31 OCTOBER 2023
After breakfast, we head to Florence, where we’ll explore the world- renowned Uffizi Museum, filled with Renaissance treasures. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at Osteria Vini e Vecchi Sapori – a favourite haunt of legendary British actress Helena Bonham Carter. The afternoon grants you free time to immerse yourself in the fabled beauty of Florence. We’ll return to Karma Borgo di Colleoli for 6pm, where you will participate in a cooking class, crafting fresh tagliolini and pappardelle pasta, followed by a tantalizing 8:30 pm dinner with a wild boar and goat cheese theme.
DAY 5 – WEDNESDAY, 01 NOVEMBER 2023
After breakfast, we set out at 9 am for an excursion to Pisa’s Miracle Square, including a visit to its famous museum. Enjoy a delicious luncheon on the museum terrace, gazing at the iconic leaning tower. At 5 pm, we’ll enjoy an aperitif back at Karma Borgo di Colleoli followed by a private show-cooking demonstration by three highly skilled pizza makers. Dinner at 7:30 pm highlights extra-virgin olive oil, tomatoes, and locally foraged mushrooms. The night concludes with live music in the Music room at 9:30 pm.
DAY 6 – THURSDAY, 02 NOVEMBER 2023
After breakfast between 8am and 11am, check-out at your leisure by 12pm.
