A journey of discovery takes us to Divar Island in North Goa to join in the celebrations of the vibrant Bonderam Festival. Bonderam means flags – and you’ll witness them in abundance with flag parades, traditional dances, live music and all-round merry making. At Midday, we’ll feast on a delicious Fish Thali washed down with refreshing Urrack (a special first distillation cashew Feni) in a secret eatery. After lunch, we’ll take a leisurely bus ride to the riverine Island of Divar, crossing the river Mandovi by ferry with the majestic Se Cathedral of Old Goa as a backdrop.
DAY 3 – SUNDAY, 25 AUGUST 2024
After breakfast, accompany resort General Manager Matilda Johnson on a guided visit to the Museum of Christian Art in Old Goa which hosts a stunning collection of Indo-Artefacts depicting Goa’s rich cultural heritage. Afterwards stroll the streets of Fontainhas, Panjim’s famed Latin quarter, savouring traditional snacks and sweet treats sourced from heritage cafes all guided by Matilda’s expert eye.
