The home of mezcal and mole, Oaxaca is the most ethnically diverse, culturally rich and all-out beautiful state in Mexico, renowned for its world class restaurants and standout food offerings. This 5-day foodie adventure, hosted by acclaimed Masterchef: The Professionals star Cecily Dalladay, will explore everything it has to offer in a once-in-a-life time nomadic journey through Mexico.
To Note: Due to the bespoke nature of this event, we are currently accepting expressions of interest for this curated experience. Once these have been received, dates will be arranged in collaboration with members who would like to join us for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
ITINERARY
DAY 1
Arrive at your luxury villa for welcome cocktails and a delicious dinner prepared by a local chef and your culinary host Cecily (Cissy).
DAY 2
Enjoy a breakfast made by Cissy before heading to Oaxaca’s vibrant market with a local guide. Shop for ingredients to craft a traditional mole, then savor dinner at Alfonsina, one of the world’s top 50 restaurants, in the courtyard of the chef’s home!
DAY 3
Relax at the villa for breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, visit a mezcal distillery to learn the secrets of this incredible brew and taste its varieties. End the day with a guided walk through Oaxaca city, sampling mezcal cocktails and street food.
DAY 4
Brunch in Zimatlán at a farm-to-table restaurant where everything is cooked over fire. Visit the town’s iconic church and botanical gardens or relax at the villa, followed by an interactive Mexican cooking demonstration and dinner.
DAY 5
Explore Hierve el Agua’s petrified waterfalls, swim in natural pools and enjoy a breathtaking scenic hike. After lunch in a nearby village, return to Oaxaca for a farewell dinner at the exquisite Michelin-starred restaurant Levadura de Olla.
DAY 6
Check out and depart.
