Karma Resorts Continues Support of Bali Rugby in 2018

The Bali Rugby Union Club and Karma Group are happy to announce that it will once again be hosting the Annual Karma Bali Rugby 10’s Tournament on the weekend of October 13 & 14, 2018. This is the 23rd year that the Bali Rugby Club has hosted the premier rugby event in Bali and we look forward to another successful international tournament

The inaugural Bali Rugby 10’s Tournament took place 23 years ago on the playing field of the Grand Bali Beach Hotel in Sanur. The Bali Rugby 10’s has since grown into one of the most successful and famous tournaments in the region with participation by teams from Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Singapore.

In 2000, History was made with the debut of the first all Indonesian Team in the Bali Rugby 10’s Tournament. The tournament now consists not only of the original open Men’s division, but also the newly added Veterans and Women’s divisions. The Women’s division is going from strength to strength, and the Bali Rugby Club is now proudly represented by the Bali Chilletes in this division. In addition to the Bali Chilletes, the Bali Rugby Union Club is represented by the Bali Chillies in the open Men’s division and the Club’s development side, the Bali Hanoman.
