Set out from Karma Tashi for a Himalayan adventure that takes you from mountain skies to peaceful valleys. Soar above the dramatic landscapes of Bir-Billing, India’s renowned paragliding destination in the Joginder Nagar Valley, before slowing the pace with a visit to a Buddhist monastery and then a bonfire evening beneath the stars at your glamping retreat.
The journey continues through the tea gardens of Palampur, followed by a riverside high tea and a chef-led BBQ dinner back at Karma Tashi. From high-altitude thrills to quiet mountain moments, this is the Himalayas experienced from every perspective.

ITINERARY
DAY 1 MONDAY 03 MAY 2027
- Arrival
- Welcome dinner with folk music and dancing
DAY 2 TUESDAY 04 MAY 2027
- Packed breakfast
- Head to Bir-Billing, the paragliding capital of India – 2 hours 30 minutes by car
- Check in at a glamping resort in Bir
- Head to Billing for paragliding
- Lunch at a local restaurant
- Visit Chokling Buddhist Monastery
- Bonfire and dinner at the glamping resort
DAY 3 WEDNESDAY 05 MAY 2027
- Head to the Palampur tea gardens
- Lunch in the tea gardens at Palampur
- Head back to Karma Tashi
- Picnic high tea by the gurgling stream near Karma Tashi
- Chef’s BBQ dinner on the lawns
DAY 4 THURSDAY 06 MAY 2027
Please Note:
- This experience is suitable for those aged 14 and above
- A reasonable level of fitness is required
- Bodyweight must be under 90 kg in order to partake in paragliding activity
Terms & Conditions
- All bookings are non-transferable and may not be sold, assigned or transferred to another individual or member once confirmed.
- The attendee names provided at time of booking must be the exact attendees at the event, unless explicit approval is granted by Karma Concierge.
- All membership fees must be current at both the time of booking and the date of the event in order to attend. Refund of any monies / points used will be given subject to a minimum of 30 days notice being given.
