For one extraordinary weekend in January each year, the skies above Jaipur transform into a spectacular canvas of colour.

Everyone looks up as thousands of brightly coloured kites dance above the Pink City, and members are invited to join this experience for one of India’s most joyful and visually spectacular festivals from a truly royal perspective.

From flying kites within the grounds of the magnificent City Palace Jaipur to feasting on Rajasthani favourites, dining at the legendary Rambagh Palace and gathering for an evening of music, storytelling and celebration at Karma Haveli, every moment has been designed to immerse you in the spirit of Makar Sankranti.

DAY 1 WEDNESDAY 13 JANUARY 2027
  • Check in at Karma Haveli and welcome briefing
  • Traditional Dal Baati Churma dinner at Karma Kasuri
DAY 2 THURSDAY 14 JANUARY 2027
  • Breakfast
  • 10:00 AM: Head to Jaipur City Palace and join the Makar Sankranti kite-flying festivities
  • 12:30 PM: Lunch at Rambagh Palace
  • 6:00 PM: Courtyard storytelling, folk performances, and dinner at Karma Haveli

  • All bookings are non-transferable and may not be sold, assigned or transferred to another individual or member once confirmed.
  • The attendee names provided at time of booking must be the exact attendees at the event, unless explicit approval is granted by Karma Concierge.
  • All membership fees must be current at both the time of booking and the date of the event in order to attend. Refund of any monies / points used will be given subject to a minimum of 30 days notice being given.
