Experience the centuries-old Tuscan traditions centred around the fabled fungi known as the truffle. You’ll discover how generations of truffle hunters seek out their pungent treasures, how chefs prepare them alongside another classic Italian fungi – the porcini mushroom and meet the rural community where truffle culture thrives.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 – THURSDAY, 31 OCTOBER 2024

Check in any time after 2pm. Time to relax before joining the group for a traditional Italian dinner and wine tasting featuring the Karma Chianti

DAY 2 – FRIDAY, 01 NOVEMBER 2024

After breakfast, depart for a traditional truffle hunt in the fertile countryside close to Karma Borgo di Colleoli with accomplished local hunters. We’ll then head back to Karma Borgo di Colleoli to prepare a delicious truffle and porcini lunch, followed by a cooking class in the afternoon and dinner at the resort.

DAY 3 – SATURDAY, 02 NOVEMBER 2024

After breakfast, we’ll head to the nearby village of San Miniato – acknowledged as a hub of truffle hunting culture to learn more about its history and traditions as well as visiting famous landmarks. We’ll end the day with a sumptuous steak dinner accompanied by local wines.
